As a registered dietitian, Ashlen aims to focus her career around improving lives through nutrition education. She achieved her Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph. Following this, she then completed her dietetic internship and Professional Masters Diploma in Dietetics at St. Michael’s Hospital and Ryerson University. Next was a Diploma in Sport Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee. She has worked in sports nutrition, weight management, bariatric surgery and HIV/AIDS health, all while maintaining a food and nutrition blog.
Above all, she promotes food as a way to bring health and happiness to each individual she works with. Ashlen has dedicated her career to working with people who are interested in making healthy lifestyle changes. Making small and realistic goals ensures each journey progresses one step at a time for sustainable success.
